The annual Discover Dogs show in London, England, Nov.13-14, 2010 presents more than 200 breeds of pedigree dogs and offers various shopping and interactive opportunities for pet dog lovers.
Discover Dogs aims to show people the huge variety of pedigree dogs and to help people understand which would best fit their lifestyle. Research conducted by the Kennel Club - the UK’s largest orgainzation dedicated to the health and welfare of dogs - has shown that almost one in five people are influenced by celebrity dog choice and other media when choosing their dog and almost 50 percent fail to do any research about which breed would suit them.
Other highlights at the show include the rescue dog agility competition and the opportunity to meet all of Britain’s rare native dog breeds, some of which are rarer than the giant panda, such as the Sussex Spanail and the Sealyham Terrier.
