Dog health is seemingly important that increased everydays, the dog owners who know how to observe and check you dog health with yourself is the better way to protect your dogs form unexpected diseases.
1. Begin by looking at her mouth and gums. Loose teeth, bad breath swollen, red, or bleeding gums can all be signs of health issues.
2. Check the eyes for cloudiness or discharge, as these can be signs of cataracts or other optical problems.
3. Examine the ears for strange odors, discharge, rediness or crusty tips.
4. Check the nose for thick or coloured mucus and discharge.
5. Examine the skin for redness, hair loss, lumps or fleas.
6. Check the feet for cuts, scrapes, redness, damaged nails and injured toes.
7. Look at the anal area and be on the lookout for swelling, redness and discharge.
8. Run your hands over your dog to feel for symmetry in the muscles and bones, as well as lumps and growths.
9. On a day basis, look for changes in behavior, weight, sleeping and eating patterns. Increased or decreased urination, urine with a strange color or smell and bloody or black stools can also be signs of a serious health problem.
