There are 4 categories of dogs that are suitable to children, they are friendly, reliable and help to make the responsibility to your kids.

 

collie

Collie : It originated in Britain and is a medium sized, fairl lightly-buit dog with a pointed snout, and many types have a distinctive white pattern over the shoulders. Collie are very active and agile, and most types have a very strong herding instinct. They display great agility, stamina and trainability. They’re gentle and predictable and won’t bite your kids. They’re easy to train and want to please. Adult collies weigh about 50 pounds (22.50 kilograms) and their long hair requires grooming.

There are many types of collie, but the general types for pets are Rough Collie and Smooth Collies. Lassie was the most famous rough collie. It makes rough collie becomes popular. Its coat is long with smooth, no nervousness or aggression, generally good with children and other animals. Rough collies are very loyal and may be one-family dogs. They are typically excellent with children as long as they have been well-socialized and trained. The smooth collie is somewhat less popular. It has short-coat with soft and straight, generally a sociable, easily trained family dog.

 

Golden-Retriever

Golden Retriever : It was first developed in Scotland. Easygoing, active and alert, golden retrievers have the best temperaments. They love to interact with kids and to play ball. The adult female weights 50 to 60 pounds (22.50 to 27 kilograms) ; the adult male 70 to 90 pounds (31.50 to 40.50 kilograms). They need to be groomed and fed, which teaches kids to be responsible.

The golden retriever has a dense inner coat that provides them with adequate warming. The outer coat is sleek and water repellent, and lays flat against the body. Because of their loyal and gentle temperament, goldern retriever are also popular family pets.

 

Labrador Retriever

Labrador Retriever : It originated in Canada. Black, yellow and chocolate labrador retrievers are known for being even-tempered and friendly. They are always ready to play, and kids can just lie on them. Adult dog weight 60 to 70 pounds (27 to 31.50 kilograms). They need grooming, so they also teach children about responsibility. Avoid the Chesapeake Bay retriever (curlier coat) since it can be nasty and uppredictable (bites more readily than others).

Labrador retriever’s coat is short and dense, but not wiry. They are a well-balanced, friendly and adaptable to a wide range of functions as well as making very good pets. Labrador retrievers are also a reputation as a very even-tempered breed and excellent family dog including a good reputation with children of all ages and other animals. 

 

Standard-Poodle

Standard Poodle : It origianted in Germany. A gentle dog that is very intelligent. A standard poodle will let a kid lie on it. You need to groom them, but a fancy haircut is not necessary. Because poodle are popular, prospective owners have to watch out for puppy-mill degradation. Larger dogs require more exercise.

Most poodles have a dense, curly, no-shedding coat that requires regular-grooming. They have a single layer of dense, curly fur. Standard Poodles are extremely people-oriented dogs and generally eager to please. In particular, they tend to be good with children and are adaptable and easy to train.
